RE/MAX Malta to co-organise the Malta iGaming Seminar in May 2010.
RE/MAX Malta has announced that this year they will again be co-organising the Malta iGaming Seminar (MIGS 10) from May 13th -14th along with fellow organising companies. This year the event will be held at the Hilton Malta, Portomaso, St. Julian’s.
CSB, a company that provides Corporate, Trustee and Licensing services, BMIT, a co-location and hosting company, The Vacancy Centre, a recruitment/HR company, Megabyte Ltd., a systems integration and IT solutions company and Green Tube, a gaming software company are partnering together with RE/MAX Malta to provide the perfect platform where iGaming executives from around the world may come to Malta to investigate, understand and be able to make a knowledgeable decision on whether Malta is the right jurisdiction to set up shop.
This year’s event will be held over two days, providing more time for executives to network and set up important meetings with event partners and sponsors to discuss Malta in more detail.
All attendees are guaranteed to meet and listen to at least three success stories of gaming companies in Malta. Like last year, where there was Per Wiederstrom, the former Chief Executive Officer of Expekt.com speaking at this same event, this year there will be Magnus Silfverberg, the Chief Executive Officer of Betsson. Betsson is an interesting success story. From its start up in 2001, to its move to Malta in 2006, the company has grown from strength to strength todate. Mr. Silfverberg will be presenting his story.

The event will be inaugurated by no other than the Finance Minister, Tonio Fenech. Mr Castelli from iGaming Business will again be the moderator. Heads of Malta Enterprise, the countries agency for foreign investment and industry and Lotteries and Gaming Authority are set to also feature at the event as key note speakers as well as during the three round tables scheduled.
Besides the business and networking side where event partners will provide in-depth presentations regarding the services they provide to the gaming industry, the attendees will be hosted to a poker tournament and cocktail party on the first night and a cocktail and pool party the next day in the afternoon.
