On April 4, 2025, RE/MAX Malta reaffirmed its dedication to community welfare through its foundation, RE/MAX & Friends Foundation. Chairman Kevin Buttigieg and CEO Sam Zammit presented a generous donation to Ms. Rita Micallef, representing The Optimist Club of Malta. This nonprofit organization focuses on empowering children academically. The collaboration highlights RE/MAX Malta‘s commitment to supporting local initiatives that positively impact society.
The Optimist Club of Malta is part of Optimist International, a global volunteer organization with nearly 3,000 clubs worldwide. The Maltese chapter works tirelessly to uplift children through educational programs. One of its flagship projects, Ikber Magħna (Grow With Us), provides academic support to young learners. The program offers homework assistance, extracurricular activities to build character and Personal development sessions
These services are hosted twice weekly at The Meeting Place, a venue dedicated to education, health, and social services. By fostering academic growth and personal development, The Optimist Club of Malta is shaping brighter futures for children.
