60 Minutes with the Co-Founders of RE/MAX Europe and Canada
RE/MAX Malta announced that they will once again be organising “60 minutes with RE/MAX” which is an event targeted at people interested in starting a new career in the real estate industry in Malta. The event will take place on the 27th May 2011 at 19.00hrs at The Corinthia Hotel, St. Georges Bay in St. Julian’s. Featured speakers of the event will be Co-Founders of RE/MAX Europe and Canada, Mr. Frank Polzler and Walter Schneider who will be in Malta from the 24th – 27th May 2011 to attend the RE/MAX Europe Regional Directors Meeting.
Mr. Frank Polzler and Mr. Walter Schneider are renowned mavericks of the global real estate industry. Together they introduced the RE/MAX Franchising concept in Canada in 1980 where they transformed the Canadian real estate industry. Their leadership in creating innovative commission structures, educational systems and state of the technology catapulted them to the number one real estate agency in Canada where their market share is over 33%. They continued to dominate the real estate industry by taking ownership of three regions consisting of nine states in the United States of America before they ventured to take on the European real estate market in 1994. Today, they spearhead an operation consisting of over 2500 offices with over 26, 000 associates in 51 regions and 39 countries.
Mr. Frank Polzler is Chairman of RE/MAX Europe, RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada Inc., RE/MAX of New England Inc., RE/MAX North Central Inc., RE/MAX Indiana Limited Partnership, PMSC Real Estate Franchising Inc. (RE/MAX Europe), Polzler and Schneider Holdings Corporation and Integra Enterprises Corporation.
He was born and raised near Graz, Austria and immigrated to Canada in 1953, where he received his real estate broker’s license in 1959. He is known for his entrepreneurial spirit and visionary capabilities and is considered an industry trailblazer who continues to provide strong leadership and inspiration to thousands of franchisees and sales associates.
Mr. Walter Schneider is President of RE/MAX Europe, RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada Inc., RE/MAX of New England Inc., RE/MAX North Central Inc., RE/MAX Indiana Limited Partnership, PMSC Real Estate Franchising Inc. (RE/MAX Europe), Polzler and Schneider Holdings Corporation and Integra Enterprises Corporation.
Born in October, 1953 in Toronto, Ontario, Schneider graduated from the University of Toronto in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and joined Polzler Real Estate at a recruiter-trainer shortly thereafter. He was named as one of Canada’s Top CEOs by Financial Post Magazine in 1995, his expertise and experience remains sought-after on an international level – he sits on a number of Boards, including Boston based Ipromoteu and a variety of other business interests outside of RE/MAX.
