Having recently moved to Gozo to start medical school, I would like to write this review of my experience with Remax and specifically, Margaret as my agent. At the very beginning, I had a few issues with a previous agency that had caused a lot of stress in acquiring accommodation in a short space of time. After making enquiries with Remax, Margaret got in contact with me and provided various apartment options that would suit my needs and we agreed on an apartment within a couple hours. The quick pace and efficient communication were greatly appreciated as I was moving abroad for the first time, and she did a fantastic job in guiding me throughout the entire process. Once arriving in Gozo, despite there being a few issues with the apartment I had signed on to rent, Margaret supported me in finding another apartment as she accompanied me to speak to another landlord within the hour, helped me with my suitcases etc. These acts of kindness were much more than she was obligated to do, which helped smooth out my experience. The transfer of fees to my new lease was also efficient and very easy and it has been a pleasure to be in constant communication with her. Margaret went above and beyond to find us a short let (2 months only) during peak season and with a dog, when most owners here don't like dogs and only rent for a year or longer.
